My main goal was to keep my SD and Micro SD cards safe when I was traveling. Micro SD cards seem to be a very tight fit, to the point where I was afraid of breaking them when inserting them. I put in some cards and shook the case to simulate a real travel scenario and the cards fell out. This was a big minus for me as I want the cards to stay in place and not fall out when I open the case. Another disadvantage is the hinge construction. It's a small strip of plastic and I felt like repeated opening/closing would eventually break the strip.
