I like the fact that they are stainless steel; I bought these to replace my old rusty pliers. They also seem very strong. The reason I returned them is because there is too much room for fingers; They flop into my hand and don't open as wide as they could. When moving my fingers from closed to open, my fingers move quite a bit before the pliers actually begin to open. Also, there is a gap between the two handles. If they were to touch when closed, as the handles of a pair of scissors do, they would open wider to process fatty cuts of meat such as roast pork.
