These work!Nice sturdy 'sporks', that will not be around forever when you are done with them.They have a totally different texture in your mouth than plastic. On the plus side, food doesn't slide off like plastic forks are prone to do. They are not as smooth, however - feels like raw wood in your mouth.I'm all for reducing plastic usage, and my mind these are probably better for you chemical-wise (no proof of this.) Made of bamboo, which grows like the grass that it's related to - nothing endangered!Price is higher than comparable plastic forks, but still very reasonable.
