A few years ago I bought some cheap ceramic brakes for my 2010 Toyota Camry and they were making an annoying grinding noise. Thinking it wasn't lubricated enough, I tried adding more lube, but it made no difference. It later started clicking every time I hit the brakes. I got fed up, listened to Scotty Kilmer and bought a pair of Akebono pads and immediately felt the difference. These pads are much quieter! The noise of friction that was chasing me vanished. Here's a tip: use the lube that comes with it. It's not much, but it's enough to lubricate the back of the pads and contact points. You'll have to use your own caliper bolt grease, but I'm sure you expected that by now. Good brakes and worth every penny!
