I installed this as an optional accessory on my new 2015 Subaru Legacy. I installed a trailer wiring harness that requires a direct connection to the battery and I hate having a bunch of wires dangling from the battery terminal so I installed this fuse box. So far I've only used one of the 6 available schemes, but I'm sure things will change when I add a radar detector and maybe a camera or two to my car. I like the idea with red lights that come on when a fuse is blown. The description doesn't specifically say so, but the light stays dark if everything is ok. If you are not using a circuit - no fuse connected and no wire connected to the terminal - the display for that circuit will remain blank. This is good because having the lights on all the time drains the battery all the time. small, yes, but still drain. The plastic cover is good and ensures a clean installation. I would call it waterproof but not waterproof. Also, I've installed other fuse boxes in the past that came with a rubber boot covering the power input stud. This one came without a case so I just installed a short piece of heat shrink tubing to cover the exposed terminal. It seems like it's easy to accidentally touch it with a wrench or something. I've never been a big fan of sparks! An installation tip. I used glue to attach it to the side of the box that contains the OEM fuse box. If you go to a hardware store, ABS cement is great for the job. Pay special attention to ABS cement and NOT PVC cement. Various chemicals. Installing this option is fairly permanent, but I'd rather leave this inexpensive box if I sell this machine than leave mounting holes empty and then remove this box.
