I used this to replace an old fashioned glass fuse box on my boat. Type fuses should prevent this. I had to create a custom mount for this, but it's installed. I love the LED indicators that let me know when the fuse opens. Overall I am very happy with this fuse box so far.

I use them quite often for various projects in our shop, usually lighting, extra power and such for SUVs. I've noticed that even with a blown fuse, current is still being drawn in each circuit. I don't know if all the ones I've ordered have been like this, but the last few definitely had this problem. I hope this gets fixed in production as I have been very happy with the LED online shop for all my other 12v purchases and don't want to look elsewhere for a properly working fuse box.

It has arrived. Seems well done. Port number 1 didn't work right out of the box. I only needed 2 out of 6 so I have 3 addons left for my app. I used this along with a relay and new wiring harness to power the headlights direct from the battery for my 1994 Dodge RV. This is the second of these fuse boxes that I have installed in vehicles for various projects and they have proven to be a great solution. I find them to be good value for money and I like the idea of having a light to quickly identify a blown fuse, especially in low light conditions. There is no problem with the installed fuse. The fuse is not installed, the output terminal is still at 11.26 volts. If you have a blown fuse, it will drain the battery and not cut power from that connector. This can lead to increased power consumption on other end devices and then the fuses on the left and right will blow. There is no continuity on pins 2, 3, 5 and 6. 1 and 4 are about 10-16 megohms, which somewhat shorts the 12 volts on all terminals. From reading other reviews this seems to…

Good quality item, love the blown fuse indicator. The bolt for fixing the power supply is strong. There are two things that I think could be improved. First I would like to see a cap/insulator for the power bolt. Either way, you get an exposed positive connector, so you'll have to come up with something to isolate it yourself. I installed this as an optional accessory on my new 2015 Subaru Legacy. I installed a trailer wiring harness that requires a direct connection to the battery and I hate having a bunch of wires dangling from the battery terminal so I installed this fuse box. So far I've only used one of the 6 available schemes, but I'm sure things will change when I add a radar detector and maybe a camera or two to my car.
