Review on FRMSAET Heavy Duty Ball Bearing Keyboard Drawer Slides - 16 Inches/Black - Durable Cabinet Furniture Hardware Rails by Mark Patterson

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Design is OK, not Excellent

Packaging was good to protect product. Definitely had sufficient variety of screws to meet your wood depth needs, I was impressed by the high number of wood and metal screws. This did not get a 5 because only the left rail has a stop, that is, when extending the keyboard tray I used this for, it will overextend if you pull out from the right side without a rail stop (no, I didn't try to figure out how to add one). There are no instructions, but if you order a set of slide rails all by itself, you probably know what you are doing or you are a carefree soul :). The ball bearing sets were not installed at the same distance from the end on both rails - not sure if that is what affects the travel distance, but I was only able to optimize 8.75 inches of travel which means this set is best for the standard keyboard, not the 10 inch deep multi-function keyboard I have. The bearing set was aligned well on one rail to allow two screws into the side of the tray, but misalignment on the other only allowed one screw - not a huge issue because there are two screws under the tray on each side as well that are weight bearing. It works but it is not perfect for me. Hopefully I've explained well enough to explain why this is not a 5-star set.
