Works best with adhesives, sealants and lubricants

I used this to glue new carpet around my bed. First I applied blue painters tape and then double sided duck tape over it. Then I pressed the mat onto the tape. I was afraid to put Duck double sided tape directly on the wooden floor. It seems strong enough to remove some of the wood paneling! So the blue tape protects the floor while the duck tape keeps the rug in place. It's been 2 years and so far so good.
