Mazdaspeed 3 2013 and Mazda CX-7 2007. One was easy to install, the other was more painful than torture. but it was worth it. Connection 3/8”. I thought it was too big for a regular 10mm nut and matching bolts, but it was the right size considering the battery terminals have a square retention design to keep the square bolt head as well as the connector in place keep. The older Mazda CX-7 has a complicated battery terminal that goes two different ways (one to the starter? another to the PCM/ECU?). and trying to fit the NOCO connector into one of the three screws on the terminal resulted in the protective cap not fitting. bad connector bent and broken: it broke. I then cut it out, cleaned the wire, applied some solder and tightened around the terminal screw and the problem was solved: a perfect connection, no voltage loss or resistance increase. NOCO Genius 1 just charged a battery that has not been charged in 4 days. and he turned green. This device is problematic, installation requires experienced hands. I hate to blame people, but those who experience a "plug temp rise" or worse are not mechanics or have no idea about electricity and how it works. In my opinion, this terminal is great, I just have doubts. I get wet washing the engine compartment. but I think it's enough to be careful: water doesn't conduct electricity unless it has something dissolved in it (like seawater or dirt).
