This is a well made tool made from durable nylon that feels comfortable in the hand - not sure if the handle is rubberized or textured to achieve that effect but I like it. The tool is very stiff but has little blade flexibility. I tried some thick acrylic paint on a piece of paper and it worked pretty well, but maybe not as well as a silicone tool for my purposes. I'm certainly not an experienced acrylic user. Also, I'm stingy with paint, and the videos show these things moving thick paint. Any other Catalyst Wedge, Blade, and Miniblade tools I have are beautiful and durable and are great for applying tube paint.
