Unfortunately I have to write a notice of purchase. I like your concept very much. The protection on the front is great, stops the laptop from sliding around, the fan is very quiet and it's nice to have the extra sound, unfortunately I've been through two of these, both had the same issue, the USB port is sleeve very poorly constructed and broke three months after installation. I am also very careful with my electronics and basically leave them in the same place but at first the sound was gone and now I have to wiggle the tendon at the base of the USB hub connector to keep the fan spinning, the same thing. Problem with two of them, sorry guys but save your money put them in a more powerful cooling base and buy some speakers for your netbook, 45.00 later, wish I could just buy them separately.
