Built for the boat. Very well sealed. both internal and external. Need a 1-1/2" hole saw for the unit and extra room for the nut to tighten on the back, so leave about 2" of clearance behind the bushing. I have the main unit in the top electronics box on my boat so the connection cable needs to be long enough to reach my console through the t-top tubing. That. A 10 foot cable is sufficient.
