Review on 🏞️ Exo Terra Riverbed Sand: 10-Pound Bag, Natural Brown Texture for Aquariums and Terrariums by Kelli Grossi

Reading many reviews on the internet that this is a great product for turtles, I have to say that this is absolutely not the case. I've used it for about 2 weeks and have used it in two tanks for two groups of turtles, both hatchlings and annuals. When the turtles move on the sand, they rise and form huge clouds of sand that make it impossible to see them clearly in the aquarium, and the sand leaves an unpleasant residue on the aquarium walls and on the water surface, but they love to dig in. I will refrain from digging this up in a second tank until my new canister is available because my alligator bass LOVES that sand. Hope this clears the dust, if so I'll change the rating, if not I'll try to remember to leave a note. In general, however, this sand has a smooth and soft texture and is not as sharp as beach sand.
