Although I washed this anemone thoroughly before putting it in the aquarium, it smelled like rubber. 2 more thorough rinses and I put it in my 20 gallon tank with my 3 goldfish and 2 snails. After a few days the tank started smelling like melted plastic and my snails died. There was an oily iridescent film on the surface of the water. My fish are all sick now. This is with filter, aerator and weekly filter change. If you don't want your fish to die I would stay away from this product!
