So I was a bit worried that the sliding bar wouldn't work properly because the wall of the shower protruded about 1/2 out of the wall "". The bottom bracket is adjustable so it goes straight up and down once installed, which was my main concern. I'll tell you what, I think the total install time was maybe 30 minutes once I figured this all out what I need is a spirit level and a screwdriver... and some channel locks because the hex keys and all with the hardware came. I used it for the first time this morning and unlike my old shower head which clicked between the two, the shower head, the wand, I found this works much better because the bypass valve doesn't click, you can see the degree of pressure distribution between the shower head and hose, and also by completely disabling one or the other, I played around with it until I found the perfect combination of rain and snorkeling action. Install the bottom of the rain head 7 feet 2 inches from the shower floor. I'm 1.80m tall so I thought they were quite large but I've never had an overhead shower. I stood there this morning and put my hands up and didn't hit the showerhead, so maybe it's a good thing if for some reason I decide to stretch in the shower. Thing lives up to its name as the ShowerSpa, I thought The Rainhead was a very nice addition to my morning routine and was very nice to just stand under. for some time! Worth buying! I am currently considering whether I want to upgrade the baby shower as well or whether I should leave it in the normal Stone Age shower. My only complaint is that my old shower wand had a valve that had a hose connected to a switch that drained the water as soon as you turned the water off. This shower head does not have this function, so some water will flow out of the shower head after the shower is turned off. I suppose a workaround would be to just lower the shower tube to the floor to drain faster rather than being a showstopper, but that's how it used to be nice. Small change here, apparently after a long search on the internet I found that the self draining shower hose doesn't exist, it must have been a feature built into my old diverter, it was very handy but it doesn't look like it when I look at it I am not mistaken I have only found one type of self draining valve sold in the UK as standard. I bought my old shower head off a cheap island top from a warehouse store so it wasn't a fancy thing but the self draining feature was nice.
