Review on ARCAN PROFESSIONAL TOOLS 6-Inch Hardened Gear Puller With Reversible Jaws (AS6GP) For Efficient Extraction by Robert Carter

I knew I had heard of Arcan before, they made my 3 1/2 ton floor jack. (which is great) This gear puller is larger than some that I have used in the past and it seems beefier. It is made of hardened steel but the center rod is black instead of chrome like the picture. (that doesn't bother me)I have destroyed gear pullers in the past and I am hoping that the extra size and beefiness of this one will allow it to withstand the tortures I plan to put it through. (time will tell)So far I am very pleased with it. You can reverse the arms and have a shorter puller or leave it as is. Even the bolts that hold it together are hardened. I will update my review once I have a chance to really give this thing a good workout.
