Very well made a high quality materials and well formed

I was pleasantly surprised at the careful forging and machining which went into this classic three-jaw puller.The plating seems well done for long term corrosion protection.The tool I received is marked Made in India if that is of interest to you.

Heavy duty, seems well built. Black center rod vs chrome in the pictures.

I knew I had heard of Arcan before, they made my 3 1/2 ton floor jack. (which is great) This gear puller is larger than some that I have used in the past and it seems beefier. It is made of hardened steel but the center rod is black instead of chrome like the picture. (that doesn't bother me)I have destroyed gear pullers in the past and I am hoping that the extra size and beefiness of this one will allow it to withstand the tortures I plan to put it through. Great tool on my review.

It’s always good to have a puller around the workshop, especially one this size. I have not actually used this to pull gears yet but I have used it to pull a lot of other random things that were stuck. My jeep has a lot of stuck components and this tool has helped me free a good bit of them. With a little ingenuity you can use this tool in countless applications. Great product overall.

Solid gear puller.: my feedback

This gear puller is very solid. To get the best use, my partner suggests that you grease the screw before use. Out of the box, the screw is tight and does not turn very easily. Once he lubed the screw, it became much easier for him to attach to and remove the bearing he was working on. He has used this to pull two bearings and both times, it worked without issue. Good tool to have in the garage.

Arcan Hardened 6 Inch Gear Puller

This is a review for Arcan Hardened 6 Inch Gear Puller, and I mention the name because there are very different products listed on the same page.The gear puller is adjustable, you can reverse the jaws, and they can be installed in two positions, so there is some flexibility. The central rod came made of black metal, not the same steel as pictured. It works very well
