Review on Schlage 994831 Padlock 2 5 Inch Shackle by Brad Collins

I've had these locks for a year now and I can confidently say that these locks are some of the best heavy duty locks out there. I've used locks in my truck toolbox and they've been exposed to all kinds of weather, from desert heat to winter snow and salt. The locks never stopped working and open just as smoothly as day one. The real advantage of these locks is that they have a 6-pin cylinder. You really won't find that in any other commercially available lock, not even in the so-called Master Lock and Kryptonite heavy-duty locks with a maximum of 5 pins. Because the additional pin makes the selection considerably more difficult. And unless some professional lock enthusiasts decide to return to a life of crime, I doubt the average criminal lockpicker will ever be able to pick this lock. The shackle is also very thick compared to others, so I have no doubts that it will be almost impossible to cut the lock without using a lot of force. I highly recommend these locks as they are well worth the price.
