Review on KODAK Instant Digital Camera & Portable Photo Printer (Blue) with Photo Printer πŸ“Έ Cartridge: Complete Kit with Soft Camera Case, Zink Paper, Colorful Stickers, and Photo Album Accessories by Michael Jenkins

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Suitable for children, 1st camera no memory, slow and grainy

I bought a camera/printer for my baby who likes it for about 7 months. Be aware, DOES NOT store images. I feel like my 4 stars can be deceiving, they say it's based on what the product is and say it works. You get what you pay for but overall not scary for a kid. I would like to do my usual deeper research for the best product for longer use. Pros: β€’ Easy to use β€’ Fun for kids β€’ Instant photos (see cons) β€’ Image prints are ok. For a child, the quality is normal, graininess. I think the product images are a bit deceptive. β€’ Easy to carry (bought a bag for it) Cons: β€’ Small screen β€’ NO memory – does not store pictures and NO memory card β€’ Printouts are grainy β€’ Cartridges are fragile, which is what happens eg when we encounter printer cartridge problems, such as what in This can be seen in some overview images when the cartridge's layers of ink rupture.β€’β€’ We've had problems, though not always, if you try to pull the cartridge out before it's empty. β€’ "Instant" It's slow, it prints each color and laminate layer individually, pushes it out, pulls it back in, out and in, etc. (here kids tend to pull it out until it's empty and the cartridge is empty. Just teach to wait until it cuts and falls out, otherwise do not touch during printing.) In general, as a starting chamber, we are satisfied. There are others that are twice as expensive, with larger screens and memory cards. However, I didn't want to throw away so much money for the first camera.

Pros
  • Film cameras
Cons
  • Big and bulky
