I wanted a pillow that was a little softer/softer than normal extra thick pillows, more like down. It works, the filling is well puffed but still soft, just how I wanted it. But it's loud and annoying! The packaging says the cover is cotton, but it doesn't look like cotton and makes a loud rustling noise when touched, which can even be heard through the pillowcase. Sounds like the noise a plastic mattress pad makes. very annoying. i give it back It would be a great alternative to a soft down pillow if the cover was regular cotton that doesn't make noise. Sizing note: I received an 18x18 pillow for an 18x18 cover and it fits perfectly. I wanted it to be a little bland/soft and not crowded. It fit on the cover with no extra space and filled it out beautifully. I would only buy a size up if you want it to be firm and overflowing.
