Review on 27-inch Frameless FreeSync Gaming Monitor with Adjustable Stand, Flicker-Free Technology, and Built-In Speakers by Christopher Muhammad

First if it works great for my son and his games. Other than that it would probably be 5 stars. It had a blue screen of death when I first turned it on, just thought Microsoft needed an update as it had been in the box for months (a Christmas present). I noticed that every time he turned it off completely, it got a blue screen for a while, but when it was put to sleep it worked fine. After the blue screen appeared the last day and I couldn't get into safe mode, I started dealing with it. Long story short, I found out that XPM wasn't set to Auto and the RAM setting was 3000MHz (which I paid for). While reading I set XPM to Auto and it dropped to 2666MHz which made me scratch my head but I quit and it started/booted right away. Decided to play around with the setting and make sure the MHz setting was wrong. Thought it might be a mistake. So I looked into the RAM where OLOY 21 Raider was installed, which has 8GB 2666MHz. I checked out the OLOY 8GB 3000MHz and they are completely different so I'm pretty sure I didn't get the RAM I paid for. At the same time, the price difference for RAM is only about $5. If it had been installed correctly, I might never have known. It was cold, they only had 2666MHz and it would be nice if they contacted me about it. I called customer service and they really couldn't help me and said a technician could call me in 4 days or I could go online and chat. I tried the chat and was told to wait 23 minutes but I waited over 1.5 hours before I got out. However, I recommend this for the price and features, but make sure you get what you paid for! From what I've learned, the difference between the two RAMs is negligible for gaming, but I've installed 3000MHz RAM and I'm confident that with this experience I'll be able to build his next computer myself.
