I usually do my best to avoid rolled cookie dough because it almost always becomes a sticky mess for me. But every few years I get amnesia and forget how traumatic it was the last time. This year I haven't quite forgotten past turmoil, but the cookie cutters were calling me. So I was looking for something to keep me from scraping the dough off the board and came across this. It is great. Most of the flour goes into the fabric so the dough doesn't get tough and, surprisingly, doesn't spill all over the table. The fabric just holds the flour and the dough doesn't stick. The only minor gripe I have with this set is that the rolling pin sock kept stretching when I used it and since the genie has firm grips on both ends, it got tangled. on axis as it extended farther than the pen itself. But it's not worth a full star - having this set is so important I'm sure I'll be rolling out more cookies and pie crusts than ever before!
