Solution for cake makers

Pastry baked and rolled between plastic wrap for decades. This is recommended (also recommended) in the Art of the Pie cookbook. Doesn't matter! Easier and more effective than flour directly on the table or between cling film. I also liked the rolling pin bushing.

In other words, don't wash them.

Once I realized that the best you can really do is peel them, shake them out, fold them up and put them in a ziplock bag in the freezer rather than wash, life got a lot easier. I mainly bake cakes and bread and this makes even the most complex of recipes a real pleasure to bake. I'm very happy that I finally understood how to take care of them so that they don't fall apart on me.

Perfect for cookies and lefse!

I destroyed my father's old gauze. So I bought him new ones for Christmas. We ended up taking them apart early so we could lefse, as is our Christmas tradition, and it worked out great. We've used both the rolling pin sleeve and gauze with no problems. I have read reviews that they are not of the highest quality but in my opinion they were perfect for our purposes. I think they might be exactly the same as the old ones we had that were over 30 years old. So in summary I have no complaints about

As you would expect from a smaller confectionery sheet.

There are no complaints about this product. This is what I've always used, it's reliable and for anyone who uses confectionery this is what you would expect. The fabric packet says 20"X 24" but mine was 20"X 22". This isn't a problem for me as I use it for rolling out pie crusts or kneading dough, but MARK SIZE if you're looking for a large tabletop size to use when making pasta or a large baking sheet. That's not the one, that's more than the size of the counter. The fabric is very tightly…

Perfect! Also Made in the USA

I needed a baking sheet and rolling pin cover to bake my great grandmother's cookies. Little did I know I would use this set every time I took out the rolling pin. I'm a seasoned cook (apologies for the pun) but have never used a rolling pin lid or casserole dish. I can't believe I've baked without them all these years! It makes unpacking sooooo easy. I take two just to have on hand. The pastry napkin is quite large - I was able to roll out the pizza crust on it while leaving room. The rolling…

I still don't understand that this is exactly what I need.

I bake a lot and it can get a bit messy. I've tried various methods to keep my meters clean and none of them have worked. But the baking sheet was perfect, just what I needed. It's a durable fabric that appears to absorb flour, making it the perfect surface for working with any type of dough. It doesn't stay in place when you work hard, but it also doesn't fly around like parchment paper. It's heavy enough to stay in roughly the right place, but packs away easily when needed. The rolling pin…

Makes rolling out cookies or pie dough a dream come true!

Excellent! I buy 4 pieces a year - mainly to share with friends who don't know this wonderful product yet. If you shy away from making pie crusts or rolled out cookies, this is a super tool. Makes it so easy to roll out and WITHOUT ADHESIVE! Dip the sock and rolling pin cloth in flour. For the shaker, I use an old artisan parmesan cheese container. Simply sprinkle some flour on the cloth between rolling out the dough. DO NOT USE FABRIC SOFTENER OR BLEACH when washing or your cookies will taste…

I really enjoyed rolling cookie dough the first time

I usually do my best to avoid rolled cookie dough because it almost always becomes a sticky mess for me. But every few years I get amnesia and forget how traumatic it was the last time. This year I haven't quite forgotten past turmoil, but the cookie cutters were calling me. So I was looking for something to keep me from scraping the dough off the board and came across this. It is great. Most of the flour goes into the fabric so the dough doesn't get tough and, surprisingly, doesn't spill all…
