It holds SD cards like a champ and looks sturdy enough but it didn't work for what I needed it for. I love Raspberry Pi and tend to overuse them, so I wasn't too surprised to find the SD slot was locked to 3. I bought these to replace a broken slot but found them to be too wide to fit >. They cost $6 and were good quality so I'm not worried but if you're looking for a Pi slot this won't work. I tested how strong they were by pressing down on the plastic part with my finger until it broke and found that their strength was comparable to the Pi itself. In fact, it still worked fine after that. These actually seem to be more durable. I checked it with the map and must have clicked it a hundred times, no sign of a problem. I would recommend it for almost any other purpose, which is why I'm giving it five stars. I probably should have read the measurements.
