Suitable for checking the outlet pressure of a regulator.
I used it for a different purpose, checking the outlet pressure of my bottles by installing another pressure gauge on the open side. Worked great, found my 800psi regulator was actually 600psi. Note, however, that using higher pressure tanks can make removal more difficult, but they have a side vent so the gas must be vented before you can unscrew them completely.
