The design is excellent, which is a plus. Amazing display. The camera is excellent (especially in low light), but there is a catch (which we will get to later). This thing feels great in your hand. Superb quality of sound. The user interface is fantastic. Nimble. Constructed to a high standard. Without a case, my phone has already been dropped once on a stone floor, where it landed on its corner and suffered no damage. Gloves function in a particular way. When the fingerprint reader fails, the retina scanner is a lifesaver (wet, gloved, well, or for other reasons). Fast and accurate scanning (even in the dark) is possible when the scanner's front sensors aren't dirty. The negatives: 1. When photographing a sunset or sunrise, the camera inexplicably alters the natural vanilla-pink color to a strange orange-yellow. So far, this has been really upsetting. In all other respects, the camera performs admirably, and the colors are accurately reproduced. 2. The fingerprint scanner is located on the back surface of the phone, making it inconvenient to unlock the device without picking it up from the table. Instead, you'll need to use retinal identification, which requires you to hang over the phone. Consequently, you must always physically hold the phone. This is just a minor annoyance, after all; who cares: Third, the "Bixby" assistant's obnoxious hardware button. I constantly hit it by accident. To disable it in my phone's settings, I was unable to locate the option.
