I've had a few mics from other manufacturers and didn't realize I was missing out until I got my hands on one. This is an amazing microphone. Sounds crystal clear and feels very professional. Don't listen to reviews that it makes noise when you hold the microphone in your hands. To be honest, it's hardly noticeable. I only bought the PGA 48 for karaoke at home, so buying one of the high end Shure mics was a no go for me. This one is perfect for my family. Bought from XLR to 1/4 jack. It connects directly to my Sony MHC-V71 high performance speaker. What a combination! If you're not a pro and don't intend to record in a studio, trust me this is perfect for you. It comes with a cool bonus Shure sticker. I just wish the storage bag was bigger so I could put the mic cable in there as well. Who wants to store the microphone and cable separately!
