so I'm repairing a 2012 Raleigh MTB that I found cheap. The only problem was that the headset was missing parts so I bought this kit. In the end it worked and the bike looked a lot better. Just make sure you have the right tools to get the job done. It's a whole suite. So if you want to upgrade and install properly, you'll need to remove the old cups and remove the old crown race, which can be a hassle without the right tools. There are some useful videos on Youtube for hobbyists. Back to the headset, it looks great and the bike turns very smoothly. Also note that there are no spacers for your stem height, so get those if you need them or use your old ones.
