Review on Joywayus 3/8" ID Hose Barb, Y Shaped Type 1/2" Male Thread Union Intersection/Split Brass Shut Off Ball Valve Fitting by Eric Jones

So it works, and it does the intended job well; fittings were sound, the valves turn easily and close fully, the problem is - it says it's lead free, but has no certification and the company itself says it shouldn't be used with drinking water. So this really limits where I ended up using it since I had to change the plans. I wasn't comfortable using it for anything connected to our drinking or even bathing water, and didn't feel good about using it in the garden. Instead I have opted to use it for air. I'm running it in a solar coil heater with 1/2" pex and it works just fine. It's a good product in build quality just not something I would use around water you might consume or leafy plants you're going to eat.
