Good quality small unit
This grater produces hash browns with perfect texture. Much better than regular supermarket graters. It takes some preparation, but the result is worth it. Try this: peel and grate 5 or 6 Yukon Gold, drain and reserve the starch, grate or finely chop a medium onion, mix together the grated potato, starch, onion, 1 large egg, and salt (we use 1/2 teaspoon large). . Fry about 1/4 cup flattened portions of the mixture in hot canola or vegetable oil. Turn around once. Serve with sour cream.
