I finally gave up and bought one of these. I'm so glad I did! I have 5 children (all have tablets/and/or phones). Of course, I also have a lot of USB cables. The plugs take up too much space and I couldn't charge everything. It made things easier. Now I can charge everything at once or just select things. I like that I can just press the button next to the USB device I want to turn on or off and they're all independent. It's easy to see what's on because the little blue light is on. I honestly think I will buy more. They are very handy and it is often difficult to find a plug when you need it. Most homes will surely benefit from one of these.
