Shelf has only one hole on each side for wall mounting. I had to buy a glass and tile drill and glue (liquid nail). I marked two holes and drew a pencil line across each side of the shelf after leveling it. There were enough accompanying anchors. I apply a quarter inch bead of glue to each side of the shelf and use pencil marks to align and press the shelf into place. I used the included screws and caps to secure the attachment and wiped off excess glue. Done, looks good. So it should have 4 holes and doesn't need glue; maybe some silicone if used in the shower or bath where it will keep the water running. I paid $22.60 for 2 in December, 2 months later and they are $38 for 2. Not sure if this is a Revain or manufacturer issue.
