Review on Philips 433557 100 Watt Equivalent Bright: Superior Lighting Solution by Keri Lloyd

Some people don't like the 6500k "Daylight" color temperature, but that's EXACTLY what I wanted in my shop. They donate a pleasant, even, bright light. They start at a little less than full brightness, maybe 90%, and gradually reach 100% in about 30-45 seconds. I originally bought Cree 5000k 100W (19W) LED bulbs. Light output and color comparable to these 23W CFL bulbs. The LEDs turn on 100% instantly, last 2.5 times longer, use slightly less power and cost just over four times as much. Lightbulbs are their size/shape: They are almost the same size as a standard incandescent bulb, 4-1/4 inches from base to tip and 2-3/8 inches in diameter. The 19W Cree LEDs were 5 inches long from base to top and 2-5/8 inches in diameter, making them too large for some fixtures. These Phillips compact fluorescent lamps are ideal for fixtures designed for standard incandescent lamps.
