Review on Enhanced Waterdrop Filtration System for Fluoride and Chlorine Removal with Increased Capacity by Jon Garcia

No use for this filter

This filter is only for the city water source which is already good quality by default. Water quality can be affected by internal pipes, but this is a problem that should be solved by replacing the pipe system instead of installing a filter behind it. I used to use a filter jug (different brand) to soften the water as we have hard water here which not only produces unpleasant tea and coffee but can also damage coffee makers over time. For this, household filters are usually purchased. The drip filter should replace the pitcher filter to use water straight from the tap. However, this drip filter does NOT change the water hardness! So we still have to pour the water that comes out of the waterdrop filter into our previous filter system to soften and use it. This also makes this filter completely useless for water sources with a lot of chlorine, since the water has to be passed through another filter to soften it. The taste of filtered water coming out of a water drop and unfiltered water coming out of another sink in the house is also the same, so there is no difference at all. The description talks about this in terms that aren't entirely clear in this context - it would be nice to say in the description that "this filter doesn't change the water hardness at all" instead of talking about "TDS".
