I bought these to make angel wings for my daughters Halloween costume. They are beautiful and large and easy to use. The feathers have small downy fluff close to the quill which is normal for feathers. These little tufts of feathers fly everywhere when you work with them but that is just part of using real feathers. I trimmed off the very tip so that I could glue them down on her wings. They are so white and fluffy and make her costume look really expensive. For the price and the amount of quality feathers you receive this is a great item to purchase.
