For a thin candle it burned clean, no drips ,nice flame and for 56 minutes. That certainly works for me! I think all the reviews about burning 20-30 minutes is because of possible drafts or candles/ candleholders where they are too close together and the excess hear is burning them up quicker.these are great.Update: I trimmed the wick to 1/16" and got a candle to burn for 62 minutes. These candles are trimmed pretty good but some could use a little snip to slow it down a bit more. Generally all candle wicks should be cut short to start with.
