I bought these to mount under kitchen cabinets. The light they give off is bright, clean and pleasant. They're light sensitive, so if you leave them on automatic, they won't turn on during the day. They are also believed to be activated by movement, and to some extent they are. I ordered a set of 2 lights and the motion sensor from one works great but I have to put my hand directly under the other to light it hence the 4/5 stars. However, the motion sensor is kind of a bonus. For a little under cabinet lighting this works great for my needs and when I need a constant light I can turn the setting on. Definitely recommend.
