Review on 🌳 Zoo Med Forest Floor Bedding: Premium 4 Quarts for Optimal Habitat Comfort by Ashley Owens

I have tried this bedding twice in the last 4 months and it has attracted mosquitoes both times! I've been using a basic coco brick mix for my box turtle for over 2 years with no problems so I wanted to mix it up just before Christmas and see if it would hold the humidity in the tank better. This forest floor holds moisture well, but I recommend using it OUTDOORS on plants, not indoors. As soon as 2-3 weeks had passed I noticed a few mosquitoes (both times!). Of course, I crushed them as soon as I saw them, but that's clearly not enough. Either this litter attracts mosquitoes or there are already eggs in the litter; I have a swarm of these again and now I need to back order more coconut rocks to replace what my box turtle is currently using. I had no problem with mosquitoes in my house until I started buying this product. I don't recommend using it for anything in the house, only outside.
