Pros: prints fast and beautiful images print/scan/copy without a computer looks fantastic in piano black beautiful, durable construction Energy Star compliant great value Value for money : USB cable not included Since most printers contain 3 colors in one cartridge instead of separate cartridges, they support different memory cards, but you may need to buy a front USB port adapter, which is only suitable for cables , not for flash drives. I love this printer! You can't beat the price ($70 including shipping or $80 plus tax when selling in store). Setup takes a while, and as mentioned above, you'll need to use your own USB cable (make sure you buy a USB 2.0 cable to take full advantage of the speed). You don't need all the software on the CD, just the basic drivers. Your first print job will probably take a while to start, but each subsequent print job will complete within 5 seconds and output well. It makes a loud noise when the paper is lowered to feed (rear paper feed tray), so be prepared for a loud jolt. output quality. From text to borderless photos, everything comes out crisp and fast. It comes with a standard black cartridge and a tri-color cartridge (cartridges are around $15-$20). A printer with 4 separate cartridges is better for color printing in the long run, but you'll have to pay twice as much for that convenience (at least for Canon. HP makes some of them almost as cheap as this one). Scanner/copier, as in previous reviews, fine. offers super high resolution but normal quality - not ideal for scanning photos, but good for text. it's also a little slow to heat up, but I'm not very good with modern scanners. Memory card slots are only suitable for a few formats such as Compact Flash, Secure Digital and Sony Memory Stick. Others like Memory Stick Pro Duo and Mini SD require a slot adapter. I'm a big flash drive user and was very upset when I found out that my drive didn't fit through the hole - this can be fixed with a USB extension cable or fits perfectly with your digital camera with a USB cable. The LCD menu screen is easy to navigate and use, so you don't even have to turn on the computer if you have compatible drives, but I usually like to enhance my images before printing. Cosmetically, it is beautiful and functional. You can close the paper tray door and exit door, and fold down the LCD screen for a neat look. I like the color scheme, but the black piano collects dust and fingerprints like other similarly colored devices. Highly recommended. Don't forget the USB cable! I suggest seller "lusopc" cable $0.01 + fast shipping $4.99
