Small footprint even for paper and printouts, great looks, easy installation and Canon doesn't want to control the entire computer like HP requires in order to function. Printer I have about 10 months old. I loved it at first. For the price I think it's a great printer (and still think the print quality is good). My problem is that the paper feeder stops feeding paper into the printer after about 5 months. The rollers turned but did not pick up the paper to feed it. I had to replace my Epson because my cat threw my orchid on it and killed it. I looked at all the printers in my price range and then read all the reviews. This one had the best reviews but didn't live up to expectations. When it arrived I plugged it in and was amazed at how easy everything was to install. I then printed the picture out and the colors were wonderful! The image is not grainy at all. It looked like a photo I printed professionally. This Canon is way better than what I had before.
