Just right for a small office when you don't need a fax machine. Canon always = quality. Small footprint even for paper and printouts, great looks, easy installation and Canon doesn't want to control the entire computer like HP requires in order to function. Canon just runs smoothly and is VERY quiet. HP insists on downloading all kinds of interactive software that slows down the computer system. HP throws icons everywhere and is just plain annoying. I'm usually a very laid back professional, but I threw my HP All-in-One across the garage floor after two years of being plagued by issues and support. Glad he's gone! Canon cons. Pay attention to the input and output paper trays according to your preferences. HP's high-quality photos seem to have a bit more detail than Canon's, although I'm not sure why. Canon's basic software for choosing print settings isn't as detailed as HP's (but neither does it require control of your entire computer), and it's a bit confusing as to which paper settings to use for third-party high-quality photo paper. BUT, this is EXACTLY what I need for my home office.
