Easy assembly. Looks great. The problem is that the base is not heavy enough and not wide enough, even for small cats. Assuming the pole is for kittens, it will be too high to hit. On the other hand, if it is intended for medium-sized adult cats, it is not strong enough to sharpen claws. My small adult cat (less than 9 pounds) needs to stand on a narrow base. It's small and barely fits. If she doesn't stand on the base, the tower will collapse. Even if she stands on it, the tower will be pulled up by her sharpened claws. The top is a bit too high for her. I don't know what size cat this tower is designed for.
