Connecticut UBI Breakers are not UL Recognized. They are also known to fail in an overcurrent situation. I installed CE UBI switches all over the panel. My electrician accidentally shorted it while working on my panel. I heard a "pop" from another room. The corresponding switch did not work. I removed all of the UBI switches and replaced them with genuine Federal Pioneer Stab-Lok switches that were in business until recently.
