Review on EXSHOW Universal Car Windshield Phone Holder Mount: Secure and Convenient Hand-Free Solution for Your Car by Tom Lantz

Revainrating 3 out of 5

It was the best windshield mount I have ever found.

Continued one year later. We started off so well it held my phone just the way I needed it. But now, just a year later, it's useless. The suction cup sucks, just not on the windshield. No matter how clean my glass is, no matter how much saliva I squirt on the cup, it doesn't stick. Pulled back on a few things that were impressive at the beginning but failed to live up to expectations at the end. Due to a change in law in California, I needed an affordable flexible mount for my 2001 Dodge Mini Van. Other mounts were either too short or unstable. So far this device has met my expectations. The problem with the minivan is that the windshield is a little farther away, so I needed a longer bracket. It has a fairly long arm that can be bent to the desired angle. I was concerned that my dash mat would destroy stability because my foot wasn't secure on the dash. This fear was unfounded as my phone is stable enough to function under California law. There's some vibration, but I can't attribute it to arm's length or the lack of a foot stuck to the dash. The leg just rests on the dash cover. The mount perfectly protects my Samsung Galaxy with the bulky Otter Box case. Also, at least on my phone with the middle bottom power connector, the charger fits perfectly through the bottom bracket. I can only recommend it, three thumbs up!
