Weak magnet in office furniture and lighting

I decided to buy them because of the color and Stanley is a good brand. Looks great, assembly was easy. I replaced the branded silver ones and expected them to be better, but the magnet isn't as strong. My garage door has spring hinges and hardly stays open. I have to try 3-4 times but I can get it to stick. Dissatisfied with the strength of the magnet, otherwise everything is fine.
