Review on πŸ“˜ Stylish and Functional Blue Metal Spine Book Tower by SEI Furniture by Judy King

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Better concept than execution.

I bought this because I needed to replace an old bookshelf with something that had an industrial aesthetic and didn't take up much space. It vaguely lived up to the bill and I'll leave it at that, but it ended up being a disappointment for the price - the biggest issue was that the shelves themselves couldn't support very much weight. For a few extra dollars of metal, they could easily reinforce the shelves themselves. However, I had to be very careful when inserting the books from the bottom up, and I'm not entirely sure what to do when I need to pull out a book that is a "carrying" volume. PROS: Very easy to assemble Color is nice although more options would be nice Fits many books in a small corner. Ideal for studio apartments. CONS: Absolutely not suitable for many heavy books due to weak shelves. After all, it doesn't get much better than having all your books in one giant pile in the corner. Best suited for people with lots of small, lightweight paperbacks. Those with heavy playbooks or art tomes should look elsewhere.
