I have ordered two of these devices. One for every two HD1 radios I own. Both have crisp keystrokes and good sound quality. The clip is very sturdy and seems to last a long time. I really like how small it is in the hand for the sound quality it delivers. The real problem is that both have an LED that should be red when you're transmitting and green when you're receiving. None of them have working LEDs. I think it's either a manufacturing defect or a firmware issue. Maybe I'll discuss this issue directly with the manufacturer. Yes, I have the latest GPS firmware 1.46 installed. ***** Update May 20, 2018 ***** Ailunce customer service contacted me directly to confirm that the LED issue is still being addressed as part of a fix. While the LED performance would be good, I'm happy with the microphone because the sound is very good and I like its small size. The clip is also of high quality and the LED is not a function of any other microphone that works with the radio. I was impressed that their support team contacted me directly, so I'm increasing my rating to 4 stars. Hope they fix this problem one day.
