Columbia is a very respected brand here in Colorado so I had high hopes for these snowshoes for my son. Believe it or not, there have already been several snowfalls this month in October 2019, so we had a chance to test them. We are very satisfied! The landing is really good. My son is 6 years old and has an average foot size. He can also put them on and take them off himself and they are not very difficult. In fact, the large velcro closure is a huge plus as you sometimes slip on and off your winter gloves. And if not, then numb fingers will freeze! Zipping and unzipping is never difficult. They also have a good grip and lasting warmth. We are very satisfied and have not had any complaints about quality or performance so far. But like I said, that's to be expected from a brand like Columbia. Definitely recommended!
