Ideal for cutting embroidery threads

My daughter wanted embroidery scissors in the shape of a stork. These scissors are very cute and cut the thread perfectly. It doesn't cut fabric as well as my old (even ancient) peacock scissors, but if I remember correctly it cuts fabric better than my old stork scissors. The hinge pin doesn't dangle at all, which is nice. Also, there is a lifetime warranty, which is great. One thing I didn't notice when ordering is that they aren't fully gold plated - the tail feathers are left in their original silver color.
