Review on Modular Hardwood Wine Racks - Wine Rack Wood for 36 Bottles (6 bottles x 6 shelves) by Tammy Stephens

Worth what I paid for.

Costs around $20-$30. Pieces of wood are inserted like Lincoln logs. It's about as stable as Lincoln Logs if you only have a few layers. The more layers and weight you add, the more stable the frame becomes. I live in California so earthquakes are a problem. This post will be pushed into a corner to be supported on either side and I'm thinking of getting metal fasteners to hold the pieces together. I don't trust that attitude in a standard 3-4 earthquake. If you live in a place that doesn't have earthquakes, kids, or pets (a medium or large dog can easily tip him over with an occasional shoulder nudge), you can leave him alone. The top can still be knocked off easily. The racks hold regular red bottles well. The descent to the cork is gentle, so the cork does not dry out. It doesn't hold white bottles with slanted necks very well. If you don't set it up correctly, it will slip out the back and land on the bottle below. Half a bottle. You can try or not. It's decent enough to hold a large number of wine bottles for a low price. I recommend some cheap home made security measures if you buy one.
